FEMALE SHORTS
This year’s short film competition brings together eight new works by eight female filmmakers. Rather than following a single theme, the programme reflects a variety of approaches, from intimate personal stories to formal experiments, documentary observation and fiction. A distinct authorial voice and a bold, personal worldview are what unite them. Together, these films offer a snapshot of where new cinema is heading today.
