Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin invites you to a special Summer Edition screening of FIVE & A HALF LOVE STORIES IN AN APARTMENT IN VILNIUS (2023) by Tomas Vengris! This lovely romantic drama will be shown at an open-air cinema at Freiluftkino INSEL@ Atelier Gardens (Bufa, Tempelhof) on July 18th at 9:30 PM.

Synopsis:
Five guests experience a crisis of love in an AirBnB in Vilnius; unaware of the stories that have transpired within the same walls and under the same bedsheets. The cleaning lady, Jolanta, arrives to wipe away the evidence of each misadventure, while her own quiet love story unfolds.

Tomas Vengris is a Lithuanian/American filmmaker. He received his BA from Columbia University and completed his M.F.A. in directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA. His directorial debut MOTHERLAND, a Lithuanian, Latvian, German and Greek co-production, won the EUROPEAN AUDIENCE AWARD in the ArteKino Film Festival, BEST FILM in the Baltic Competition at the PÖFF Black Nights Film Festival and was selected in the Narrative Category for the 2020 European Film Awards.
FIVE & A HALF LOVE STORIES IN AN APARTMENT IN VILNIUS, LITHUANIA, is Tomas’ second feature film.
