We are delighted to announce all 3 Festival pearls which will be screened at the 8th Lithuanian Film Festival LITAUISCHES KINO GOES BERLIN!
Two of the main feature movies are fictional: “Miracle” (Diretor Eglė Vertelytė) and “Breathing into Marble” (Director Giedrė Beinoriutė). The third one is a documentary directed by Arūnas Matelis: “Wonderful Losers. A Different World”.
Matelis’ documentary ”Wonderful losers. A Different World” tells a story about professional cyclists, which do not have the chance to victory – in order to make their teams win. This sacrifice requires both mental and psychological strength – this is how they become heroes. The music composer of the film Alberto R. Lucendo is going to be present during the first screening.
