Synopsis

In 1986 Aldona lost her eyesight. According to the doctors, probably the explosion of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant has harmed her optic nerves. In the film, we follow Aldona on her daily trip to Grūtas Park. By touching the rough, indelible monuments, she links the past and the present.
